The weather is getting colder in the lands. I can't breath fire in this world, so I have to find another way to keep warm. I've been hunting down a lot of wood in my quest to keep warm when the snow comes to town. My hoard contains almost 20 logs of wood. I think I'm ready. Then again I bet I'll be fallen to winter freeze some place this year. |

Sometime after traveling throught the Pitch Caves, Prowl chimed in on the sunstone about a bunch of Orga Berserks were found in the southern part of town. I took a moment to scratch my head before I headed over to the southern part of town with a few mammals.
The large orga kept on coming for a fight as I watched the fighters swing their weapons at the creatures. Prowl was counting each Orga Berserk she found even Coldy started to count them. The count stopped at 13 when the last one was defeated. The group started to look to see if there were more around the area.

During the search, I found the candle shop I heard talked about around town. No wonder I can never find it. It's location is placed way off in a quiet corner of the southern part of town. Coldy bought one for his house and I followed him out of the shop to look for more orga. I never found another orga around town, but I did hear a drum in the northern part of town. Was this an invasion or just some orga that got lost?

Usually not a lot of new things happen during my adventure with Taryn's group to the Pitch Caves. Most of the time I just hang outside the well waiting for the fighters have their fun. This time it was different. I got the chance to go down the well making it my first time down there.

After we cleared the area of noids, we looked around the place in search of a pathfinding spot. Someone spotted one and we all headed through into the other side. I thought we would run smack into more noids, but we ended up finding ourselves in the ruins of a library. |
There were broken chairs littering the floor and a number of bookshelves lined up in groups. I tried to check to see any of the books would come off the shelves while the others checked the place in their own way. It looked like the place was just a safe place to hide from the noids. People soon started to head out of the place.
Then Drablak spotted something on the wall. I sunstoned that Drablak found something and everybody came back into the library. Everybody lined up behind him and we entered deeper into the library.
I think Taryn was grinning really wide when we came to the advance pathfinding book. Everybody with enough pathfinding ranks started studying the book while the ones that can't understand the book just got to stare at it. I was one of the ones that couldn't understand the book. After a break, we headed back out to explore the place some more by going deeper into Pitch caves. We had to mind the fact that the noids may pop back up behind us as we traveled deeper. We were lucky to get back out of the caves without having to depart our way back home.
When we did get back to town, I headed to the Marsh Hermit in the marsh and decided to finish training with him. Looks like I have to wait on trying to get Horus to say something new to me for awhile. I was a bit amazed that I'm half way done with the hermit. I thought I had less ranks from him. Oh, well. |

A Mysterious Potion

During a recent trip to the Pitch Caves, I got a chance to see Horup's Potion in action. The potion was made by Mystics to add more power to a healer to raise a fallen. Drablak pulled out the potion and had all the healers gather around a fallen Chmee. The fish then used the potion and we watched a noisy light show around us. Instead of making it easier to heal the fallen mammal, he became worse. Comments on how useless the potion surfaced. The potion didn't help at all.
Remembering how the Red Healing Potion worked, I started to get curious. This potion is used by healers to make a fallen exile easier to heal, but it doesn't work on fallen healers. I wondered that Horup's Potion had a rule that a healer should be the one using it. In town, Drablak gave me a Horup's Potion to test out.
Days past as I waited to get a chance to test out the potion. The problem of testing out the potion in town came to me. It was too easy to get the healer help in town to raise a fallen. Any injuried and fallen exile in town would get attention of a passing healer. I had to test out the potion outside town, so the wait continues.

I used one of my cards to get to Arbor Hollow where I found myself in a forest. I hopped up the tree gathering money and imagination as I go. Soon, I found myself on top of the place where a large egg rested.
I tried to hop onto the egg and ended up falling through the tree collecting even more stuff. Welcome to the many wonders of Glitch.
