Looks like I'm alive again. No clue how I did it. It is down to two of us now. Three died from the attack and others died from other things like infection or being too thirsty. I learned a valuable lesson about the difference between skill and energy as I could of save people yesterday. Bloody scales! Why did I have to spend last of my energy on upgrading my home? Thought my skill would of saved my energy a little and I could use the last of it to close the gates. Now, I'm too scared to leave the town. I slammed the gates in anger, because of many reasons floating around my head. Time to wait for the end in my nice annoying home.
Okay, I'll stop roleplaying and being a silly dragon for a moment and tell what happened straight. I was sort of laughing when I found that Action Points (AP) and Construction Points (CP) don't go into each other when you want a 6 AP construction like a home upgrade. Ended up using all my AP to point I couldn't close the gate for 1 AP. CP is a class feature that allows a player who chooses a tech to spend CP points on constructing things instead of using AP. It became very useful during my play in the town. Funny thing is that I survived an open gate with another mammal. Strangely, there were zombies that just didn't know what to do after eating up three other players. Luck of the dragon strikes again. Shame the status effect I'm under won't let me go outside for anything, so this looks like the end of my adventure in this town. I hope you like my adventures in Die2Nite and next time I figure out a better way to tell my adventures in that game at my next town. |

It was an eventful night as I used my trusty oven to mash those annoying zombies with claw swipes for good measure. Okay, this is starting to turn into one of those old cartoons. Anyways, this dragon made it out alive once again.
We did lose two more mammals that night. One died from an infection and another died from thirst. Blah, what's with people dying from not drinking water when we have some? There are eight of us now and the watchtower isn't showing any promises as a big hoard of zombies is waiting to attack the town. Looks like this is going to be our final stand, if we don't get anything to help us.

Over the radio, someone told everybody that he cleared an area north of town enough that we can search the area in peace even with two zombies wandering the area. Hopefully this is going be what saved us. I pulled out a few metal scraps and a plastic bag from searching that area. Then headed back to town to drop the metal scraps off. Decided to make a water bomb. It seems zombies melt into a puddle when water is poured on them. Yeah, weird. After upgrading my home defenses, I headed back outside and used the water bomb to make an area safe for searching and let the mammals know on the radio. Then begin searching again hoping to dig up something better this time. |
I decided to use the log I found to upgrade my home just one more time. I don't know it will work or not keeping the zombies out of my home, but doesn't hurt to try. I pulled out one of the Radio Cassete Players in the bank and sat down waiting for the coming end.

I have no idea how I survived last night. It seemed we had a miracle happened and our defenses sky rocketed to weird levels.
Strangely we had fifteen deaths in total. That's the most this town ever had and it brings our numbers down to ten. We had a lot of mammals dying of thirst. No clue how that happened, because our well still had water in it. A few mammals died from injuries from the growing numbers of zombies outside town. Yeah, there are more out there now.
Lots of energy in the town were used to make sure the dead bodies in town were throw outside before they raise. The good news is that there were a lot of supplies removed from the empty homes and thrown into the bank.
Not a good sign with our current numbers and I got a feeling we won't survive for long. I put in my effort to get our defenses up when the temporary defenses fall. At end of my day, I volunteer once again for Watchman duty. Can we survive another night?

Yup, I'm still alive and wagging my tail. It seems we forgot to close our gates and we lost one of own that night. He was one of our watchmen. Looks like being a watchman is dangerous work. Also, we once again had mammals disappearing from the outside. We are down to 25 now.
I did my usual of getting my ration and putting my skills at a project to increase our chances of survival. Then I took a short nap which this time made me feel better. I headed outside and grabbed much that I could before returning back to town. My scales got dirty, but it had to be done.
Later that day, I ended up saving another mammal from those zombies. This is starting to be my normal lately. The last mammal I saved returned with a blue print, so hopefully this mammal I saved today would be carrying something to help the town too.
End of my day, I decided to do something crazy. I volunteer to be a watchman. If the gates were forgot to be closed again, I won't see the next day.

It was a long and boring night out there as I waited inside my small tent. I heard the zombies pounding at our door, but none of them came in to attack us. After I woke up to a new day, I decided to fix my tent to allow me to take a nap during the day. When I did try a nap, it didn't go very well as thoughts of the zombies kept me up. I headed to the well and pulled out my ration. Then I checked the news and found out the mammals that were outside town didn't make it back. We lost nine people out there and now 31 of us remain in this dirty town. I sighed as I headed to the construction site and helped reinforced the gates.
Later that day, I heard over the radio of two mammals having trouble outside the town. I took a can of food out of the bank and ate it for energy. I hate beans. I really do. Where's a cow when you need one? I stepped outside the town and headed to the closest mammal needing help. There were four zombies around him...or she. You mammals look a lot a like to me. Anyways, I cleared two of the zombies for the mammal and headed back to town. I hope the mammal will be okay now. The next day news will tell me.
